Carol Ellingwood was born in 19th January 1956, Chicago. Ellingwood graduated from high school in 1976 and attended Lamar State College of Technology in Beaumont, Texas, during the summer[7] and later the University of Texas at Austin, she did managed to comeplete her studies and got her marketing diplomy.
In January 1976, she met her husband (Kurt Mitchell) during the Human Be-In in Golden Gate Park in San Francisco popularized hippie culture, leading to the legendary Summer of Love on the West Coast of the United States.
